Hi I'm Rhea! I'm grateful that you found your way here and are interested in exploring what is possible with your voice.

I believe we all deserve to have an embodied, healing practice with our voice, whether that is through; developing a singing & performance practice, gender affirming speech training, or vocalizing in free form experiments (like connecting with the ocean or our plant friends)

I've been performing and recording music for the past 20 years and teaching for 10. I began instructing/mentoring gender expansive youth at places like; Chicxs Rockerxs SELA and Rock 'N Roll Camp for Girls.

In 2020 I expanded my practice, supporting all ages with their voice, primarily working with fellow queer and trans people. After working with Renée Yoxon, my mentor in trans voice training, I began officially offering gender affirming singing & speech coaching in 2023.

I offer lessons at my studio space in Los Angeles (unceded Tongva land), in outdoor nature spots and in digital space. I offer sliding-scale pricing and am open to certain trade options. Curious? Let's work together!

1:1 Voice Lesson

Sliding Scale $40-$70/hour
(can be hosted in-person or digital)

A private vocal lesson tailored to your specific needs! Some examples include:

Gender affirming speech/singing
Singing coaching
Preparing voice for a tour/show/recording
Learning your fav karaoke songs
Deepening connection to your voice through song, nature, play, and creative exploration

1:1 Intro to Recording

Sliding Scale: $40-$70/hour
(can be hosted in-person or digital)

Learn the basics of audio recording with either; Logic Pro X (Mac), Garageband (Mac), or Bandlab (Mac or PC). You will learn about different types of equipment, how to setup your first recording project and be able to ask questions particular to your goals and situation.

1:1 Intro to Vocal
Effects & Looping

Sliding Scale: $40-$70/hour
(in-person only)

Learn the basics of using a looper and effects pedals to modify and make magic with your voice. Includes an overview of; how effects pedals function, how to properly and safely set up your gear, and examples of various vocal techniques.

Tuesday December 9th 7-8:30pm

Monthly meetup for trans, non-binary & gender expansive singers to share experiences, resources and develop networks of support. Come to share or just listen! Each meetup will begin with herbal tea, a warmup exercise and opportunity to make sounds together in a supportive, playful, low stakes environment. All vocal styles and levels of experience welcome.
